As an Editor
I was in charge of the production of Vibal Group, Inc.'s Student’s Digest, the publishing firm’s flagship supplementary magazine covering social studies. This experience instilled in me the value of collaboration and of people's stories.
I created timely magazine outlines; wrote engaging articles; worked with a handful of in-house writers, contributors, and graphic artists; and ensured that everything—every grade level, every issue, every volume—was in tip-top shape for printing.

Long days in the office were worth it knowing that our purposeful and meaningful stories were read by young Filipinos.
As a Writer
Besides writing for Vibal Group, Inc., I also created print and social content for different companies, such as Moleskine, Lenovo, and IVO, during my time in M2.0 Communications Inc., one of the top public-relations companies in the Philippines.
In M2, I learned more about the influence of good, data-rich story-telling in different industries.
"Why tell stories?" you still wonder.
I believe that stories are the basic currency of human connection. We expand one another's understanding through meaningful exchanges of narratives. Sharing our stories and listening to those of others, then, strengthen our relationships.
Personally,
I'm in the trade of story-telling to discover and digest perspectives, uncover realities, and recover from the beating of today's world.
Ultimately,
we all just want to make sense of the commonplace of change that is life. So stay awhile. I'll tell you a story—I can even tell yours if you'd share it with me.
